Abstract

In this thesis, in a hybrid approach, combining textile technology and photonics, laser material processing is adapted for use in automated preforming processes. Precise cut-outs with a wide variety of geometries can be produced in carbon fibre textiles. Newly developed fasteners are based on new geometric variety.
